Endoscopy Unit

Overview

This service is a day only Gastroenterology / Endoscopy unit. It offers:

  • Outpatient clinic
  • IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) clinic
  • ERCP (Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography)
  • Endoscopic ultrasounds

Referrals are required to access this service. Please bring your Medicare Card when you attend.

Head of Service Gastroenterology

Assoc Prof Jenny McDonald has been a practising clinical Gastroenterologist at ISLHD for nearly 30 years.

She is involved in collaborative research, supervising administrative changes in as part of the move of endoscopy to theatre, and coordinates Gastroenterology services across the District.
