The Wollongong Haemodialysis Unit is located within the Wollongong Renal Unit, in Dudley St, Wollongong opposite the Wollongong Hospital and right next to the Wollongong Hospital multi-storey parking station.

Wollongong Haemodialysis Unit opened with six chairs back in 1978. Today the unit runs with a capacity of 18 chairs, servicing the dialysis needs of approx 70 patients each and every week. Patients attend the Haemodialysis Unit three times per week, usually for a period of 5 hours each visit.
