What the service is
A review and assessment clinic for children with acute illness that have attended the Wollongong Hospital Emergency Department
What we do
Review and treat children with acute illness by nursing staff and/or doctors. Can include treatment support and access to specialist care, provision of medications and fluids, observation and follow up
What to expect
Acute clinical care for children aged 0 to 16 years
How to access this service
Access to the Paediatric Assessment Unit is through referral from the Wollongong Emergency Department or the Paediatric Ward
