What we do
To ensure consumers receive the best possible care that will assist them to make a speedy recovery, relevant services, including Drug and Alcohol Services, psychology, social work or occupational therapy will be offered at the earliest opportunity; and when consumers are ready to return to the community, they can be referred to a rehabilitation or community service as needed.
While consumers are on the unit, each consumer will have their own bedroom, and there are laundry facilities available if needed. The unit environment includes two lounge areas, a community dining room, and a spacious courtyard with access to exercise equipment. There is also an activity room where consumers have the option of occupying their time with craft activities. There is also a Quiet room for consumers, and nursing staff are available 24 hours a day.
