Dr Nasser joined the Local Health District as a Radiation Oncologist in 1999. More recently he was appointed as the Medical Director for the Division of Cancer Services.

Elias attended Punchbowl Boy’s High School in Sydney and completed his medical training at the University of NSW graduating in 1989. His junior medical career was spent in Sydney at Prince of Wales, Royal Prince Alfred and Westmead Hospitals and following his radiation oncology training he undertook a clinical fellowship at Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in the United Kingdom.

Elias lectures at the University of Wollongong, speaks Arabic and in his spare time he enjoys reading, bushwalking and coffee.
