Research within the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District has been gaining momentum over recent years. Currently there are more than 300 clinical and non-clinical staff who are engaged in research projects which are driven by the desire to provide a high quality evidence based health care service to our community.

Our goals are to:

• Support staff participating in research projects
• Lead a research culture within our District
• Foster strong partnerships and collaborations
• Promote the research endeavours of our staff.
