Bulli Hospital and Aged Care Centre

Bulli Hospital and Aged Care Centre opened in August 2020. It has been designed and specifically tailored to meet the needs of the District’s growing, ageing population.

The facility, which sits opposite the old hospital in Hospital Road, provides inpatient, outpatient and allied health services, as well as the Urgent Care Centre.

The hospital’s Urgent Care Centre treats minor health issues and injuries. The centre is staffed by experienced Medical Officers and Registered Nurse between 7am and 10pm, seven days per week.

Bulli Hospital has a long and proud history. It was built at a cost of 800 pounds on land donated by Mrs George Organ. It was opened by Lady Darley, wife of NSW Governor Sir Frederick Darley on Saturday, 20 May 1893, and consisted of a five-bed male ward, two-bed female ward, doctor’s room and matron’s room.

This hospital is fully accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS)
