Hospital Auxiliary and Volunteers

Port Kembla Hospital has a large volunteer group Palliative Care and Rehab Patients. The volunteers raise a significant amount of funds for equipment every year. For more information or to become a volunteer contact the Port Kembla Hospital volunteer coordinator on 4223 8414.

Nowra/Shoalhaven Hospital Auxiliary

Port Kembla also has a dedicated Auxiliary who work tirelessly to support the hospital:

Operational since: 1965

Current members: 10

Main purpose: Fundraising for the Rehabilitation Ward

Key activities: Craft stall every fortnight at the hospital, Port Kembla Golf Club Ladies Day Event.

Contributions: Funds raised for equipment for the Rehabilitation Ward.

Meetings: 11:00am – 1st Thursday of each month at Port Kembla Hospital
