The Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) is reminding people to take precautions when gardening and cleaning around stagnant water sources, as the warm weather increases the risk of Legionnaires’ disease.

While NSW hospital Emergency Departments have been busier than ever this holiday season, they have excelled with their delivery of care. On New Year’s Day almost 10,000 were treated in Emergency Departments (EDs) across the state, including 2,000 arriving by ambulance.

The Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) is reminding parents and guardians of children aged between 2-17 years are eligible for free dental health care at its public dental clinics during the school holidays.
