NSW Health today welcomes more than 1,000 interns to the system - a record number of new starters and the most of any state or territory in Australia. This year, Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) has 69 intern positions, who will commence at hospitals across the region.

The Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) is pleased to see vaccinations for children aged five-11 start today, with parents and carers urged to book their children an appointment as soon as possible.

The ISLHD Annual Public Meeting (APM) was held on Monday, 6 December. The APM provided an opportunity to highlight the magnitude of the COVID-19 pandemic response, while also showcasing the many achievements of the past 12 months.
