The asthma program is currently run at the Piccadilly, Warilla, Kiama, Nowra and Ulladulla Community Centres. A clinic also operates from the Corrimal library on demand.
How to book an appointment or make a referral
All referrals are made through the Access and Referral Centre. Your health care professional can refer you to the service or you can contact the Access and Referral Centre directly to self-refer. Please bring along your asthma medication, spacer and asthma action plan (if you have one).
Once your referral has been received a nurse will contact you to organise an appointment. Your asthma session will take approx. 60 minutes. Your nurse will discuss your asthma history, asthma education needs and set goals. Spirometry testing may also be performed.
