* PLEASE NOTE:
- Confirmed cases of COVID-19 are notified by the person’s normal place of residence. In some instances, a case counted within ISLHD may relate to a person/s not currently staying or being cared for in the District.
- The number of confirmed cases does not necessarily represent the total number of people in the community who may have COVID-19. People with COVID-19 may experience very minimal symptoms, and may not undergo testing.
- Social distancing is currently the best measure we have to limit the spread of COVID-19. Everyone should continue to follow the social distancing requirements currently in place, regardless of how many confirmed cases there might be in their local area.
- The information provided above is correct at the time of publication. In some cases, the total number of confirmed cases may be reduced when a case has been found to live outside of ISLHD or as a result of ‘false positive’ tests. A false positive is where a person initially tests positive for COVID-19, but subsequent tests are negative.
