Vaccines are free and eligibility is set by the Australian Government. You can book an appointment at a clinic via the Australian Government Vaccine Clinic Finder or directly at our clinics (details below):

Our vaccination clinics offer a booster dose of vaccine to those:

  • aged 16 years and older
  • are three months past their second dose.

Third dose

A third dose is part of the primary vaccination course for the severely immunocompromised, intended to increase their immune response to a level closer to the average fully vaccinated person.

  • 65 years old or over
  • 50+ years for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
  • 16 years or over for those who are severely immunocompromised (the winter booster dose will be a fifth COVID-19 vaccine dose for this group, following the three primary doses and first booster)

Vaccination after having COVID-19

Accordion Content

You can receive your next vaccination dose once you’ve recovered from COVID-19. For most people, this is around 4 to 6 weeks after infection.

You can become unwell with COVID-19 more than once. The best protection against contracting the virus again is to get vaccinated.

Your first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccine are listed on your Immunisation History Statement in your Medicare account. Once you have received two doses of vaccine, you will also be able to download your COVID-19 digital certificate (also located in your Medicare immunisation history).

Click here for details on how to access your Immunisation History Statement.

Please note: Due to privacy reasons, children aged 14 or over need to have their own MyGov account to access or their immunisation history statements.

Alternatively, you can phone the Australian Immunisation Register and request to have a copy mailed to you. Note: Children aged 14 or over need to speak to the service officer to provide consent and verify their identity.
